Back then all the DJ’s bacalao fresco (fresh vinyl) was pressed with música máquina (electronic music) from Valencia, Spain in general, Detroit or UK. Nowadays the big rave scenes from Berlin, Detroit or UK are famous all over the world. Besides these evolutions Valencia’s rave scene was banned by Valencia’s government and the police because of increasing car accidents after excessive party weekends at Ruta Bacalao. What is left nowadays is nothing more than derelict ruins and the music.
